Resource Management Specialist (Temporary, Ongoing) - Scunthorpe

Pay: £12.21 - £12.40 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
* Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
(1-hour unpaid lunch break)



We're looking for a Resource Management Specialist to join our friendly and supportive team on a temporary ongoing basis. In this varied role, you'll be responsible for recruiting and managing workers for our clients in Scunthorpe and the surrounding areas, ensuring high standards are met within tight timelines.

This is a hands-on, people-focused role - perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong client and candidate relationships.



Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Workforce Management
* Proactively source, interview, and place candidates to meet client needs
* Advertise vacancies to attract a high-quality response
* Maintain a pool of available, pre-vetted workers
* Ensure compliance with legal and client-specific requirements
* Organise site tours and onboarding documentation
* Monitor worker performance and provide feedback
* Support branch availability and booking processes

Client Service
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
* Meet targets for client calls and meetings
* Ensure timely resolution of pay, invoice, and timesheet queries
* Take part in the out-of-hours client contact rota
* Deliver consistently high customer service

Sales & Development
* Use market and candidate insight to support sales activity
* Cross-sell other business divisions where appropriate
* Help maintain and grow existing client accounts
* Work to increase pay rates and margins through effective negotiation

Team Contribution & Admin
* Take an active part in daily branch meetings
* Maintain accurate reporting and documentation (e.g., Sales Pipeline)
* Present yourself professionally when meeting clients or candidates
* Carry out additional duties as needed by your manager



What We're Looking For:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisation and time management abilities
* Problem-solving and negotiation skills
* Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
* Proactive and self-motivated, while also being a strong team player
* Flexible and willing to take part in the out-of-hours rota
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
