Summary
Job Title: Security Relief OfficerLocation: Dudley, Shrewsbury, TelfordJob Type: Part Time, Permanent
We are currently seeking professional and reliable Security Relief Officers to provide high-quality security cover across multiple sites in Dudley, Shrewsbury, and Telford. This mobile role is key to protecting our clients' property, people, and assets by delivering consistent service in line with site-specific Assignment Instructions (AIs). You will ensure high standards of security are maintained and respond effectively to incidents and emergencies, while demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
-Deliver all security tasks as outlined in the site-specific AIs.
-Regularly review and stay up-to-date with changes to AIs and suggest service improvements.
-Ensure full compliance with all legal, contractual, and policy requirements, including wearing your valid SIA Frontline Licence at all times.
-Hold or be willing to obtain a CCTV PSS SIA Licence.
-Follow instructions, work methodically, and act with professionalism and integrity.
-Stay alert to security threats and health and safety hazards, taking appropriate action as needed.
-Respond to incidents promptly and complete accurate reports.
-Conduct check calls as scheduled and liaise with emergency services and control centres when required.
Training and Development:
-Complete all required competency training.
-Undertake additional training as directed by the Security Account Manager.
-Use technology and professional development to improve knowledge and performance.
-Renew your SIA licence at least 16 weeks before expiry.
Requirements:
-Previous experience in a security role.
-Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision).
-Strong communication, observational, and reporting skills.
-Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends.
-Ability to travel across Dudley, Shrewsbury, and Telford.
-Professional and calm under pressure.
-Full UK Driving License.
Desirable:
-SC Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
-CCTV License
