Summary
Helpston Playhouse is a welcoming, Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ early years setting housed in an award-winning, eco-friendly building. We provide high-quality care and education for Pre-School children, along with a busy Breakfast and Out of School Club, opening from 7.30am to 5.30pm.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pre-School Practitioner to join our experienced team. The role includes working across our Preschool, Breakfast, and Out of School Club, so flexibility and a team-focused attitude are key.
What We’re Looking For:
• A qualified Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or 3)
• A reliable and motivated team player
• A confident communicator with children, parents, and colleagues
• Experience in planning and delivering engaging EYFS-based activities
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver a rich and varied curriculum in line with the EYFS framework
• Ensure high standards of health, safety, and wellbeing for all children
• Support learning through fun, creative, and inclusive activities
• Maintain accurate planning and record-keeping
• Provide occasional cover at short notice, including for staff absence and training
