Summary
We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable delivery driver to join our team on an ad hoc basis, providing cover for holidays and busy periods. The role involves local deliveries and collections, primarily in the Birmingham area.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out local multi-drop deliveries and collections.
Safely secure loads using ratchet straps.
Ensure timely and professional delivery of goods.
Follow all health and safety and road regulations.
Represent the company in a courteous and professional manner.
Requirements:
Must be aged 25 or over and have a maximum of 3points (due to insurance requirements).
Proven experience as a delivery driver, ideally with multi-drop experience.
Confident and competent in securing loads using ratchet straps.
Good geographical knowledge of Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
Full UK driving licence with a clean record.
Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
