Summary
Self-employed window cleaner required
Sub-contractor required for 2-3 days per week. Must be self-employed.
Experience in window cleaning is essential – pole, ladder & squeegee work. You must be comfortable with working at height.
You may on occasions also be required to undertake some gutter cleaning work & at other times, some basic/light maintenance work, such as painting, picture/signage hanging, key box fixing, lamp replacement, re-positioning furniture for clients etc.
You will always be working alongside one of our very experienced colleagues for guidance.
We need someone who is friendly & personable. It is important that you like interacting with people & that you understand that our clients need to trust you & respect the skills provided by everyone involved in our team.
Honesty & integrity are imperative as you will sometimes be entering the homes of elderly & vulnerable clients. An enhanced DBS check will be required. We can arrange this if you do not have one already.
Remuneration to be discussed based on skills & experience.
Most of our work is in the Southeast of England. Our industrial unit in South Godstone, Surrey provides a base for our operations. It is important that you do not live too far away from this area & that you have your own reliable transport to get to this location to meet up with your colleagues each day, sometimes very early in the morning. The unit is not on any public transport route.
You are unlikely to be considered for this position if you live more than 60 mins. driving distance from Godstone.
