Summary

Job Title: Senior Radiographer – Angiography

Permanent/fixed term contract: Permanent
Salary range: £Competitive
Full time/part time: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week,
Shifts: Monday – Friday (with possibility of 4-day week), plus on-call.
Significant post-qualified experience in Cath Lab Radiology is essential.

About The Cromwell Hospital

The Cromwell Hospital is a major international private hospital in West London receive both UK and international patients. We are committed to providing the highest quality healthcare outpatient and inpatient service care. The hospital has 180 beds and 4 suites, 6 theatres, medical and surgical wards, cardiac centre, CDU, level 2 and 3 full intensive care facilities, paediatrics, diagnostic services, physiotherapy, and a dedicated day surgery unit.

The Cromwell Hospital is working towards providing Angio services from 8am and 8pm, which might go beyond this time when needed due to the demand and the complexity of procedures. Therefore, there will be a requirement to work through flexible work shifts. There is also requirement for participation in an out- of-hours on-call Cath Lab service and may require weekend working.

We perform a wide range of procedures to include; Ablations, Coronary angiograms and angioplasties, Cardiac Devices insertion/removal, PFO closure, TAVI, EVAR, Prostate embolization, Fibroid embolization, Varicocele embolization, Lower limb angiogram/angioplasties, PTC, Cerebral angiogram and Cerebral aneurism embolization

How you’ll help us make health happen:

You will support and deliver high standard diagnostic imaging in cath lab
Perform all types of IR, cardiac and neuro procedures as required.
Ensure that a high-quality service is provided by monitoring standards for patient care, technical performance, and reporting.

Be fully conversant with the Radiology Management System, PACS, and the computerised method of patient and examination documentation.
Participate in a departmental On-Call rota – if possible and to work flexible hours if required to accommodate changing workload patterns.
Co-operating with the need for occasional and necessary ‘overtime working’ to ensure that any procedure in progress can be completed safely, such as extra working time normally being compensated by time off in lieu or overtime payment.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
BSc or DCR in Radiography (essential)
Registration with HCPC (essential)
Able to evidence CPD (essential)
Post graduate experience in Angiography (essential)
PACS trained (essential)
Angiography specific radiography qualification/certificate (desirable)
