As a Credit Administration Support Officer, you’ll provide essential administrative and operational support to the Credit Risk team. You’ll manage communication with dealers, obtain the documentation required for credit reviews, and coordinate the preparation and distribution of credit approval documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the Credit Review Schedule, coordinating the collection of dealer documentation and tracking review progress
Setting up new dealer folders and reviewing folders for existing dealers
Conduct pre-review searches and checks (HPI, Experian BIQ Risk Reports, Land Registry, etc.), preparing files for Analysts
Draft and send offer letters, credit decision documentation, and agreements (Master Agreements, Guarantees, e3PG Solicitor Letters, Letters of Variation and Notice of Account Closure). Also, notification to the Buyer Team of Cap Limit Exceptions and to HSBC of Cap Limits also, plus Large Dealer Terms
Review received documentation and store securely
Manage incoming calls and emails from dealers, triaging enquiries and ensuring timely responses to credit requests
Support the execution of registered security documentation, including coordination with legal and internal signatories
Keep records up to date and maintain communication logs in line with business and compliance standards.
Key Skills
An excellent communicator – confident in both written and verbal interactions with internal teams and external customers
Organised and methodical – able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision
Detail-oriented – with a high standard of accuracy, especially when working with legal and financial documents
Comfortable in a busy, fast-paced environment where customer service and data accuracy are crucial
Strong administrative skills with experience in a similar support role (ideally within financial services, credit, or legal administration)
Good IT proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office, shared drive systems)
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity
