An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Curriculum Manager Health, Early Years, Access and Distance Learning to join our Health, Early Years, English & Maths team reporting to our Head of Department.

As a Curriculum Manager with Redcar and Cleveland College you will be responsible for demonstrating a strong commitment to student-centred education, with a deep belief in the potential of every learner, including those returning to study through Access to Higher Education or engaging in distance learning. They will be passionate about shaping the future workforce in health, early years, and social care, ensuring the curriculum is relevant, inclusive, and aligned with professional standards. With a clear focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion, they will promote a culture where all learners feel represented and supported.

The ideal candidate will show integrity and professionalism in all aspects of their work, embracing accountability, ethical decision-making, and continuous improvement. They will be a collaborative leader, skilled at building positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders such as employers, universities, and awarding bodies.

A proactive and resilient approach to problem-solving is essential, alongside the ability to respond creatively and constructively to curriculum challenges and sector change. They will be data-literate, using evidence to drive high standards in teaching, learning, and assessment, and they will confidently lead quality assurance processes. With strong digital competence, particularly in distance and blended learning, they will embrace innovation and encourage the use of technology to enhance learner engagement. Above all, they will bring energy, vision, and a commitment to further education that will inspire teams and contribute to the ongoing success of our outstanding provision.

Schedule
• Monday – Thursday (8.30am – 5.00pm) and Friday (8.30am – 4.30pm)
