MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POST:
Responsible to the Office Manager from whom they will receive formal supervision and who will allocate work when necessary.
PRIME OBJECTIVES OF THE POST:
To proactively deal with a wide range of enquiries from all stakeholders, either in person or via telephone, email and letter.
To provide administrative and organisational support to all stakeholders as required.
Undertake reception duties, answering routine telephone and face to face enquiries and signing in visitors.
Issuing messages, incoming mail and communications with staff and students as appropriate.
Be fully trained in the reprographics function.
Data inputting of computerised records/management information systems.
Undertake typing, word-processing and other IT based tasks.
Undertake other duties appropriate to the post as required by the Office Manager that may be reasonably required from time to time.
Training
Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard English and maths Functional skills at Level 2 (if required) Training by day release with Shipley College
Qualifications required
GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) desirable
GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) desirable
