Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, flexible, and dedicated Clerical Officer to join our Endoscopy admin team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic team in a first-class, spacious, and state-of-the-art hospital environment.

As a Clerical Officer in our Endoscopy department, you will play a key role in managing the booking of patient endoscopy procedures. Your responsibilities will include daily management of key targets such as booking appointments, managing patient pathways, liaising with patients and coordinating with both Endoscopy and supporting departments. You will also have the chance to interact directly with patients, covering reception duties, requesting case notes, handling phone queries and sending out communications.

The Endoscopy administration team operates from 8 AM to 8 PM Monday to Thursday, and 8 AM to 6 PM on weekends, requiring a flexible working approach. You will primarily be based at KMH, with cross-cover required at Newark Hospital and the Endoscopy Mobile Unit located at Kings Mill.

If you are committed to providing high-quality patient care, possess excellent organisational skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you!

Please see the attached document for the full detailed job description, main responsibilities and person specification.

We are an award-winning NHS Foundation Trust working alongside health and social care colleagues across the county to provide acute and community healthcare services to more than 420,000 people across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood, and parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.

We put the patient at the heart of everything that we do and it is our aim to make sure that every patient is treated as we would want a member of our own family to be treated. At the same time, we expect our staff to be caring, kind and courteous to each other and to look out for each other. We believe that we are truly a clinically-led organisation.

We are proud that our Trust colleagues have voted us the best acute Trust to work for in the East Midlands for seven years running in the National NHS Staff Survey, while the Care Quality Commission has rated our Trust as ‘outstanding’ for care and our King’s Mill Hospital as the only ‘outstanding’ NHS-run hospital in the East Midlands.

Please see the attached document for the full detailed job description, main responsibilities and person specification.
