Morson Talent is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for one of our highly esteemed clients who have recently expanded to the Hoddesdon area. Position: Forklift OperatorWe are currently hiring a skilled Forklift Operator to perform various warehouse tasks, including conducting pre-shift checks, operating the forklift safely and efficiently, and documenting inventory movement. As a valued member of our team, you will also collaborate with colleagues to meet daily production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
Please note that this position may involve heavy lifting, picking, and packing.
Job Training:Job training will be provided for the successful candidate.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Basic IT skills, as you will need to use computers
• A strong team player, comfortable working in a close-knit team
• A high level of proficiency in English communication
• Hourly rate of £13.12, guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Shift: 14:00pm to 22:00pm
• Overtime paid at x1.25 or x1.50, depending on the day
• Weekly pay
• Free onsite parking
• Complimentary drinks (coffee, tea, water)
• Immediate start available
• Conduct pre-shift checks to ensure the forklift is in good working condition
• Safely and efficiently operate the forklift
• Ensure smooth goods flow within the warehouse
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and racks
• Accurately document inventory movement
• Maintain a tidy and organised warehouse space
• Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets and maintain high-quality standards
This role may also involve heavy lifting, picking, and packing.
Job Requirements:
• Valid Forklift Licence - Counterbalance & Reach or Pivot Steer
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment
• Excellent communication skills
