Are you passionate about helping young people explore belief, values, and ethics in an inclusive and thought-provoking way?

We are looking for a reflective and enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher to join a supportive and values-led humanities team. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students and support their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development through engaging and inclusive learning. Beginning June 2025.

Duties as Religious Education Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality RE lessons that promote curiosity, discussion, and critical thinking

  • Create a safe, respectful and inclusive classroom culture

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely feedback

  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners

  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and support the wider school ethos

Ideal Religious Education Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy or a related subject

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Religious Education

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a Religious Education Teacher

  • A commitment to inclusive, values-based education and professional growth
