Summary

USW have some outstanding sporting facilities at USW Sport Park and Treforest sites, that play an integral role in supporting academic delivery, providing recreational sport and well-being opportunities for USW Students and Staff, generating important sources of income from community and professional sport.

This is a full time post based in Pontypridd, with the post reporting to the Head of Sport Facilities & Operations.

As the Team Leader: Operations (Fitzone) you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the site, requiring an enthusiastic and customer focused approach. Providing guidance and supervision to the onsite Sports Assistants. You will seek to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction, will ensure operations are delivered safely, and will support and plan the co-ordination of site activity and bookings. You will support the Head of Sport Facilities & Operations in ensuring Fitzone provides an outstanding user experience for facility users, using the sporting assets to generate levels of income aligned to annual targets. You will work closely with the Student Union to encourage use and participation
