We’re on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Chef Manager to join our dynamic team in Cowdenbeath. As Chef Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operation, leading a catering team of 22 (including 6 direct reports). You’ll take the reins on everything from planning delicious, high-quality meals to managing stock and ensuring top-tier hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, inspire, and support your team to deliver exceptional food and service
Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, stock control, and compliance
Take pride in preparing fresh, innovative meals that wow clients and customers
Maintain a spotless kitchen and front-of-house environment
Handle weekly reporting and ordering with accuracy and efficiency
Champion health, safety, and food hygiene standards
What we are looking for
- A proven background as a Chef Manager or similar role
- Strong culinary skills and a real passion for food
- A natural leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Computer literate and confident with stock systems and reporting
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and ready to lead by example
- A keen eye for quality, safety, and service
