BTEC Sport Tutor – 16–19 Football Education Programme

About the Role:
Join Crawley Town Community Foundation's dynamic team as a BTEC Sport Tutor.
You'll play a pivotal role in delivering the educational component of our 16–19 Football Education Programme, combining classroom instruction with the passion of football to inspire and develop young athletes.
If you are interested in working within a sports environment, teaching smaller class sizes than mainstream education and want to support the development of young people - come and join us.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a teaching role NOT a coaching role
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Pearson BTEC Level 3 Sport qualifications.
Plan, teach, and assess to high standards, ensuring student engagement and achievement.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with the Education Manager and wider team to enhance programme delivery.
Support students in exploring progression opportunities post-programme.
Requirements:
A sports-related degree or equivalent.
Applicants MUST have a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, BEd, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training) PLEASE NOTE: FA qualifications do not count as recognised teaching qualifications.
Experience teaching BTEC Level 3 Sport or similar programmes.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
