Summary
Kilnbridge is looking for Steel Erectors for an ongoing project in Aldermaston (Near Reading).
Days: Mon-Fri (Potential Saturday work - Uplift x1.5)
Duration: 6 months + (Opportunity to be relocated to another project)
Start & Finish: 07:30-18:00
Paid hours: 10 hours per day
Rate: £24-£26 per hour
Responsibilities
Steel erectors must be able to erect and install structural steel frameworks, beams, and columns.
Steel erectors must be able to interpret and work from technical drawings and plans.
Steel erectors must be able to bolt, weld, and rivet steel components into place.
Operate lifting equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Work at height using appropriate safety equipment and procedures.
Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to ensure smooth workflow.
Steel erectors must conduct routine inspections and report any structural issues or hazards.
The steel erector role requires the following
Valid Blue CSCS Card (Skilled Worker).
Basic DBS Check (must be current or willing to undergo one).
Suitable steel erectors must have proven experience in steel erection or structural steelwork.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
