Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and creative Academic Mentor and Library Manager who has a passion about education and believes they can positively impact outcomes for young people. The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting students to achieve their academic potential through the provision of high-quality literacy interventions, mentoring and support, including the development and delivery of sessions in English and/or Maths to small, targeted groups of students. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for maintaining high standards within our library.
We are looking for a candidate who:
• Is a confident communicator with a passion for student outcomes.
• Has a flexible and proactive approach to work, willing to ‘go the extra mile’ .
• Can build positive, productive working relationships with others.
• Has warmth and positivity to establish relationships based on trust and respect with students and parents.
• Works collaboratively
• Can maintain the library facilities to the highest possible standard.
