Summary
HGV Class 1 Night Shift Trunk Driver, Paisley, £18.90 per hour
We are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Paisley, Glasgow
- Night Shift with start times from 8pm till midnight
- A competitive pay rate of £18.90 per hour
- Time and a half for all hours worked over standard 45 hour working week
- Opportunity of a permanent contract after 13 weeks worked
What to expect as a HGV Class 1 Driver
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks ensuring health & safety standards adhered to
- Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Collecting stock from other depots and returning to Glasgow base
- Dropping stock at other depots and returning cages / pallets to Glasgow base
- Ensuring load secure and safe for transit
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 1-year practical driving experience
- Full driving licence with C+E entitlement
- CPC qualification - full and up to date
- Digital tachograph
- Maximum of 6 penalty points
- A solid work history
- An enthusiastic can-do attitude
