Job Role: Support Worker - LD Young Adults
Salary: £12.39 + an extra £189.00 per month for sleeps
Location: Ruckley, Shrewsbury

At Ruckley, we support eight incredible young adults in a semi-independent community home, just seven miles south of Shrewsbury. Each resident enjoys their own cosy bedroom and bathroom, and pairs share a kitchen. Our large communal Hub is the heart of the home, where we gather for shared meals and fun activities.

Our young adults love a wide range of activities, from pub lunches and bingo to baking, drama, dance groups, swimming, Zumba, Tae kwon do, BBQs, cycling, Nintendo, and so much more!

We're on the lookout for someone who can champion the inclusion of individuals with Autism, learning, and physical disabilities, and help them engage with the wider community.

**Essential Requirements:**
- A valid UK manual driving license for at least 1 year and your own vehicle.
- A passion for supporting people to live happy and fulfilled lives, helping them achieve their dreams and goals.
- Personal Care is part of this role
- Excellent communication skills and a great listener.
- Patience and empathy.
- Ability to work well with families and communicate effectively with family members.
- Promote independence and daily living skills.
- Good IT knowledge and skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
