Summary

We are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join an Adolescents Safeguarding team.

This role requires a Social Work qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contract/s.

About the team

This team works to support young people who could be at risk of homelessness, missing from home and/or criminal exploitation. The day-to-day responsibilities include carrying out and/or progressing CIN and CP plans, preparing reports for youth offender panel and conducting interviews for young people missing from care or education. The team regularly carry out visits with families and young people especially to prevent family breakdown and loss of engagement.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years experience in permanent contract/s is essential in order to be considered for this role. Previous knowledge and experience of CCE, family breakdown and preventative work is key to be successful in this role. A valid UK driving licence and car are essential to be considered for this role.
