Summary

Two Teaching Assistants Required in SEN School Near Lewes, Sussex - Make a Difference in a Supportive School Environment

Are you passionate about supporting young people to learn and thrive?

We are seeking two enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a committed staff support team at a thriving SEN school in Lewes.

About the Role:

  • You will provide direct support to students in the classroom, assisting teachers with delivering lessons and creating a positive learning environment.
  • You will work with individual students or small groups, providing tailored support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.
  • You will build rapport with students quickly, fostering a respectful and productive atmosphere.
  • You will be part of a supportive team, contributing to the wider school community and potentially taking on additional responsibilities such as supporting extracurricular activities.

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • A passion for supporting young people to learn and achieve their potential.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • A Driving licence and own vehicle (Car or Motorbike) is a must due to the location of the school.

This is a full-time, term-time only position.
