Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual with experience in property maintenance to lead and support a team delivering high quality repairs for social housing properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planned work stream and maintenance across a range of properties, ensuring work is completed on time and to standard.
- Lead a team of operatives, managing schedules, resource allocation, and health and safety compliance.
- Liaise with tenants, addressing complaints and ensuring excellent customer service.
- Work closely with subcontractors and senior management to meet and exceed contract requirements.
- Track and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a qualified trade person, carpenter, plumber etc ideally within social housing
- Strong knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance.
- Trade qualifications NVQ2 or equivalent
