- and right now we are looking to recruit for Casual Events Assistants to join our team.
Key Purpose of the role:

The Events Assistant’s role is to assist in the manual setting up and down of all events which require the use of portable theatre equipment and sometimes you will be asked for stewarding.

These events include music and stand-up comedy gigs as well as sporting events, so this is an amazing opportunity to be involved in these amazing events by making them happen.

Key Duties:

You will assist with the following:


- The setting up of staging units and seating
- The cleaning and clearing up after an event
- Ensuring all equipment is set up safely
- Undertake any other duties as required within the Centre as directed by your line manager


About You:

To be considered for this role, you will be a responsible individual, ideally with a good work record in a similar environment. Job training will be given to all new recruits.

You should display a mature attitude and be able to demonstrate a level of experience and knowledge commensurate with the position in:


- Health and safety awareness
- Capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment
- Communication skills
- An open, honest and confident personality
- Be prepared to work weekends, late nights and early mornings on a casual basis
- Able to work within a close team and independently


It is desirable that you are over 18 and hold a driving license due to the finishing times of these events.
