Healthcare Assistant – Domiciliary Care | £15 per Hour + Paid Mileage | Rotation of Day and Night Shifts, Full-Time

Our client, a domiciliary care service, is looking for compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join their team, supporting individuals in their own homes across the local community.

This is a full-time role offering £15 per hour, paid mileage, and the chance to make a real difference in people’s lives—every single day.

As a Healthcare Assistant (Domiciliary Care), you’ll provide essential care and companionship to older adults and individuals with varying needs, helping them maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.

You’ll travel between service users’ homes during your shift, offering personal care, emotional support, and practical help with daily tasks. Your role will be crucial in promoting wellbeing, independence, and quality of life.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant
  • A caring, patient, and dependable nature.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting others and making a positive impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver person-centred care in line with each individual's support plan.
  • Assist with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and light household tasks.
  • Build trusting relationships with service users and their families.
  • Accurately record visits, observations, and care notes.
  • Travel between service users’ homes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Uphold dignity, respect, and inclusion in all aspects of care.
