Summary

Senior PBS Practitioner –North East Lincolnshire Area

Location: North East Lincolnshire
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 including travel time.

Salary: £35, 704 plus mileage
Requirements: Full UK Driver’s License with access to your own vehicle and a willingness to travel across the area. Mileage paid.

Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner Accreditation – BTEC level 4 or equivalent.

We work with young people with learning disabilities, Autism and sometimes mental health conditions using Positive Behaviour Support, techniques that are built on the principles of inclusion, choice and participation. These young people are at significant risk of entering specialist residential care.

We are looking for a full-time Senior PBS Practitioner to join our client's dedicated team in the North East Lincolnshire. As the Senior PBS Practitioner, you will initially be working with 2 siblings alongside a PBS practitioner whom you will line manage. A robust PBS plan with strategies to support them to increase their quality of life is to be implemented with support, guidance and training for key stakeholders working with them. Both siblings do display behaviours of concern however, with the right support and strategies in place we will be able to provide them a safe environment to flourish.

Senior PBS Practitioner Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver support and implement PBS strategies for children and young people with complex care needs and challenging behaviours.
• Utilize your experience in Trauma-Informed Care to enhance the support provided.
• Ensure that all services align with best practices and current standards in PBS.

Senior PBS Practitioner Qualifications and Experience:

Essential: Proven experience in working with children and young people with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
Essential: Expertise in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
Desirable: Qualifications in PBS (BTEC Level 4 or higher) or an MSc in ABA or PBS.
Advantageous: Experience in Trauma-Informed Care.
