Learning Support Worker Required - Mainstream
Location: Peterborough
Salary: Temp - £13.50 per hour including holiday pay
Hours: Up to 35 hours/week
Contract: Temporary Position
Are you passionate about helping students thrive in education?
We are looking for a Learning Support Worker (Mainstream) to join our Additional Learning Support (ALS) team on a temporary basis. In this role, you'll work with students who need extra support to access learning, helping them develop skills, build independence, and succeed in their studies.
Key Responsibilities:

Clarify and simplify instructions to support understanding

Keep students focused, motivated, and engaged

Support literacy, numeracy, and study skills development

Promote confidence, self-esteem, and independence

Collaborate with teaching staff and contribute to student progress tracking
What we're looking for:

A supportive, adaptable, and student-focused approach

Experience working with learners who have additional needs

Strong communication and teamwork skills
What you need
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the update service willing to apply
- References cover the last 2 years
- Revelant experience working as a Learning support assistant
