Summary

We are currently seeking experienced, caring, and reliable Support Workers to join our dedicated team, providing person-centred care and support to adults with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs. These rewarding roles are based within supported living environments in the Macclesfield area (SK10 & SK11).
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals to live as independently as possible while promoting dignity, choice, and inclusion. You will support individuals in their daily routines, encourage their personal growth, and help them to access the wider community in a safe and supported way.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities, and associated complex needs
• Assisting with daily routines, personal care, and independent living skills
• Promoting community involvement, social activities, and meaningful engagement
• Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours in a calm, professional manner
• Administering medication safely in line with care plans and policies
• Completing accurate, detailed records and reports
• Working closely with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
Candidate Requirements:
• Proven experience working with adults with autism and learning disabilities
• Experience managing challenging behaviour within a supported living or residential care setting
• Current, valid, and in-date CPI (MAPA) training certificate (essential for this role)
• Experience in medication administration
• Must be a driver with a full UK manual driving licence (essential for this role)
• A minimum of 6 months’ experience working in supported living or similar environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A caring, proactive, and resilient attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure
