Woodlands Nursery School has reopened under experienced, new ownership and new management. With fantastic, outdoor areas and open-plan, indoor areas on the ground floor, we are the perfect setting for inclusive, fun and educational Early Years Development.
We believe in drawing on the Outdoors to create a nurturing environment built around Discovery learning, Wonder and Growth.
We are looking for an apprentice who have a background in early childhood education.
The successful candidates will be responsible for children between the ages of 0 and 5. Ideally, candidates will already have experience in the Early Years and are motivated by a child-led but structured approach, placing emphasis on outdoor and natural environments. The position requires good, interpersonal skills as well as creativity and the ability to approach problems from an innovative perspective.
Responsibilities:
Help create an environment that supports the cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and language development of all children.
Provide opportunities for children to interact with each other and the environment.
Assist in the education of children and their families.
Work with families and other practitioners to ensure that all children reach their full potential.
Analyse and interpret data.
Document findings in records.
Demonstrate good judgement when interacting with children, families, staff, and other practitioners.
