Summary
CMA Recruitment Group are working with an International distribution business located in Portsmouth, Hampshire, in the recruitment for a FP&A Analyst. This role will support a key area of the business in providing key financial reports and analysis to support commercial decision making. What will the FP&A Analyst role involve?
Reporting to the Commercial Financial Controller, the key responsibilities of the FP&A Analyst position will include:
• Preparation of the annual budget and monthly reforecasts;
• Monthly sales and variance analysis including provision of detailed commentary;
• Working closely with the sales teams in preparing monthly forecasts;
• Provide monthly commentary on business results;
• Working closely with the wider business to identify opportunities to improve the commercial performance of the organisation as a whole and drive through the necessary change.
Suitable Candidate for the FP&A Analyst opportunity:
• Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification and have experience of working within a similar position with a large multi-national environment or looking to make their first move out of Public Practice;
• They must possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills and be able to demonstrate a strong commercial acumen.
