Summary

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant to join the School of Professional and Community Learning, AAT teaching team.

We are looking for an hourly paid lecturer in AAT (Accounting) to teach our students on programmes running next academic year. These are popular programmes with increasing demand at all levels.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and experienced individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an AAT qualification and a recognised teaching qualification, alongside relevant AAT teaching experience up to level 3.

Candidates will have the opportunity to manage certain aspects of the qualification and further develop the online content. You will need to be flexible, organised and proactive in your approach.

You will be expected to support your students on all aspects of their journey, to achieve this you will need to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues across college.

This is a fixed term position initially until 31 July 2026 and will be reviewed annually in line with course enrolments and demand for the courses from our local communities, which is currently high.

The closing date for applications is 22nd June 2025, interviews will be week commencing 30th June 2025.
