Summary
Neway International are currently seeking a Business Support Assistant to join our client base with Carmarthenshire County Council | Location: Trostre Depot, Llanelli Contract: 22 June – 25 August 2025 (extended after review) | 37 hrs/week | Hybrid Working (minimum 2 days on-site) Pay Rate: PAYE £12.45/hr
Carmarthenshire County Council is looking for a reliable and organised Business Support Assistant to provide essential administrative and financial support across the Environment Department. This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to high-performing teams during a busy operational period.
Key Duties:
Assist in financial processes including creditor and debtor transactions, payroll updates, and audit-ready record keeping.
Maintain accurate staff records, manage mailboxes and calendars, and generate reports using internal systems.
Liaise with contractors and internal stakeholders, offering clear communication and a can-do attitude.
Monitor and update costing data, support systems improvements, and provide customer support as needed.
Carry out a range of admin tasks, including data entry, correspondence, and maintaining filing systems.
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday (start time between 8:00–9:00am), 37 hours per week. This is a hybrid post with at least two days based at Trostre Depot, Llanelli.
