Summary
Working autonomously, to triage, assess, diagnose and treat patients presenting with acute illness or injury, and to advise patients in respect of their continuing medical and nursing needs. To assess and treat exacerbation of chronic disease and provide information on diagnosis, exacerbation prevention and general management to promote patient ownership of their chronic disease. To participate as required in practice-based research projects and audit.
