Temporary to permanent contract

Monday to Friday

42.5 / 45 hours per week

£12.80ph

MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT DUE TO CLIENT LOCATION

Our client is seeking a MACHINE OPERATIVE to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. You will have previous production or warehouse experience and be ready to take the next step to progress. You will be a strong communicator and confident in using IT systems. Working within a busy food production environment. Your typical tasks will be:

• Production - sealing product and checking for any quality issues, taking samples, monitoring and recording results as required
• Ensuring stock levels, system accuracy and food safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Contributing to improvements in quality and performance targets.
• Operate machinery such as bowl choppers, extruders and cutting equipment
• Report any issues where machinery does not work correctly or is unsafe to operate.
• Conduct machine part changeovers and asset care programs in conjunction with Engineering team
• Use business systems, such as QIS and NAV to accurately manage production & cleaning records for product safety and integrity – including CCP checks.

Mon to Fri £12.80ph (Set hours)

Mon to Sat Overtime (Client offer) £19.20ph

Sun Overtime (Client offer) £25.60ph

Working hours:

• Jan to June 06.45am to 15.45pm (42.5hrs)
• July to Dec 06.15am to 15.45pm (45hrs)

Candidates must hold:

• CV showing previous Production / Warehouse experience
• Passport or Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance
