Summary

Are you seeking a part-time opportunity that keeps your mornings and afternoons free?

As a lunchtime assistant, you will be responsible for the setting up of the dining hall with tables and chairs ready for the pupils. You will assist with delivering and serving dinners to pupils and staff. Some of our pupils require specific support with their feeding so you may be allocated to a class to help with this. Once dinner is finished the hall needs tidying and clearing ready for the afternoon and then you will support the students in the playground until the end of break. You will also be supporting lunch breaks of the classroom staff during your shift.

Applicants will need to have excellent people skills and a warm and caring personality. The ability to communicate effectively with students and staff is important. Opportunities for training are available and all staff are encouraged to take up these opportunities.

Closing date 6 July 2025

Interviews: TBC

We reserve the right to interview before the closing date if we receive applications from candiates who meet the criteria on the Person Specification so we advise you to apply early.
