About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Lecturer to join our Clinical Skills team. The postholder will contribute to, and lead in, the areas of course delivery, course management and course development in the area of clinical skills at the University, with a particular focus on simulation and life support. To undertake research and knowledge transfer through scholarly activities. To undertake specific course leader responsibilities in related programmes, as appropriate.

About you:

The successful candidate will have experience of teaching within Higher Education as well as experience in clinical skills teaching and assessment. You will need excellent presentation, communication and networking skills along with a flexible and innovative approach to teaching.

For this role you are required to have an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area, a professional teaching qualification or membership of the HE Academy, an active registration with the Resuscitation Council UK at instructor level for Advanced Life Support and a registration with a relevant UK healthcare professional body.
