Summary
As Phoenix is growing, we need to increase our staffing capacity with experienced, committed and likeminded professionals. The role of driver is required on a part time split shift capacity.
Duties and responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Driving a 7 seater car in a safe manner and in compliance with highway regulations.
• Being responsible for the health and safety, comfort, and welfare of pupils and staff.
• Carrying out daily and weekly vehicle checks, including fire precautions, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy.
• Carrying out basic maintenance of vehicles and equipment as required.
• Reporting any vehicle defects, faults, incidents, and accidents in the vehicle logbook and to the Head.
We are looking for someone who has:
• A full and clean UK Driving Licence without any restrictions
• Experience in working with confidential information.
• Problem solving skills for giving instructions to contractors and support crew.
• Knowledge of effective maintenance and Health and Safety processes and systems.
Safeguarding
Ensure children and young people’ safety and welfare through effective approaches to safeguarding, as part of duty of care in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024 and Working Together to Safeguard Children
Work with the designated safeguarding lead (DSL) to promote the best interests of children and young people, including sharing concerns where necessary
Promote the safeguarding of all children and young people in the provision
We actively encourage visits to our our provision.
Working Hours: Mon - Fri 8.00 am - 10.30 am/ 2.00 pm - 4.30 pm
