Summary

We're looking for an Electricians Mate to join our Natural Resources team working, working on our Thames Water WAAP Scheme Projects. Location: Working across sites in the Northern Thames Valley region

Hours: Permanent, Full Time - flexible and part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know



Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced Electricians Mate to join our Natural Resources team on our Thames Water WAAP Framework. In this role you'll support our electrical team working across projects in the water industry, including clean water and wastewater treatment facilities. The role involves assisting qualified electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring all works are carried out to high standards and in accordance with industry regulations.

Your day to day will include:

-Assisting electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on water industry sites (e.g., pumping stations, treatment works, reservoirs).

-Supporting in pulling cables, installing cable trays/conduits, and terminating electrical connections.

-Preparing and maintaining tools, materials, and equipment on-site.

-Ensuring work is conducted in accordance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.

-Carrying out testing under supervision and record test results when instructed.

What are we looking for?

This Electricians Mate role is great for you if you have:

-NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Installation

-Previous experience as an Electrical Mate or similar role in a construction or utilities environment.

-ECS/CSCS card is required.

-Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures.

-Holds a Full UK Driving Licence
