Summary
Compassionate Healthcare Assistants Wanted for Flexible Night Shifts in Codnor
We are seeking experienced and caring Healthcare Assistants to join a well-established provider in the Codnor area. You’ll be working night shifts in a welcoming nursing home that supports up to 42 elderly residents, many of whom are living with complex age-related conditions such as dementia.
In this role, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care that promotes the comfort, dignity, and well-being of each resident. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, toileting, and mobility using appropriate moving and handling equipment. You’ll also monitor residents’ conditions, promptly reporting any changes to senior staff.
Maintaining a clean and safe environment is essential, so you’ll be expected to carry out basic housekeeping and ensure compliance with health and safety standards to minimise infection risks.

To be suitable for this position you must have:
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate
- Up to date mandatory training certificates
- Full up-to-date CV
- A minimum of 3 months experience working within a hands-on care role
- A referenceable work history
- A bubbly and outgoing personality and a true passion to make the lives of those under your care as fulfilling as possible.

The hours are from 21:45 to 07:00 with days being available as required from Monday to Sunday.
