The role

Friesland School is currently seeking to appoint a Teacher of Maths to join a well-established, talented, committed and hardworking faculty. The successful candidate would inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential by consistently delivering quality first teaching to ensure lessons are engaging and challenging for all students. The successful candidate will be involved in developing the curriculum alongside the Maths faculty.

The person

We are looking for an excellent Maths teacher who has a real passion for Maths and teaching and can demonstrate excellent subject knowledge. The ideal candidate will have experience or an interest in teaching through a mastery approach as we deliver our KS3 and KS4 using a highly successful mastery approach, which requires students to really think and understand what they are doing. The ability to teach KS5 is also desirable. They will also be committed to continued professional development through teaching and learning to drive their practice and development as a teacher. They will be enthusiastic, organised and committed to providing an outstanding education for all students. The successful candidate will also be involved in developing the curriculum with the Maths faculty.

Teaching roles: Applicants must be able to attend the school in person if selected for interview.
