At Andoversford Primary School, we create an enriching environment with a sense of belonging, which nurtures children’s curiosity. Our goal is that all learners leave us as resilient, self-motivated individuals, ready to thrive in an ever-changing world.
The governors of this good school are seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to join our teaching team from September 2024. The role is part-time, working 3 ½ to 4 days per week. We are pleased to be able to offer some flexibility to make sure we get the right person to compliment our team.
We would like a teacher who:
can motivate and inspire pupils
is a positive role model, with high expectations
is keen to learn and committed to their own professional development
can foster excellent working relationships with staff, parents and the wider community
What the school offers its staff
In return we can offer:
Enthusiastic, motivated and happy children
Creative, inspirational and friendly staff to work alongside
Spacious and engaging learning environments – both indoor and outdoor
Good opportunities for individual growth and development
Commitment to staff wellbeing and maintaining a successful work/life balance
A reflective and forward-thinking ethos
Andoversford Primary School is a small school on the edge of the Cotswolds with excellent transport links to both Cheltenham and Gloucester. We have a superb learning environment with plenty of space, both inside and out!
Commitment to safeguarding
Successful candidates will need to apply for an enhanced check from the Disclosure and Barring Service. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share the same commitment. This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check. Any personal information shared with us is solely used as part of the application process and will be securely kept for 6 months. After this period, any information about unsuccessful candidates will be safely destroyed.
