What the school offers its staff

Carr Infant School’s ethos is built around confidence, communication, and creativity. We encourage staff and pupils alike to embrace challenges with self-assurance, collaborate effectively, and problem solve with our school frameworks. These values are at the heart of everything we do, shaping a nurturing and inspiring environment for both learning and teaching.

At Carr Infant School, we prioritise professional growth through weekly staff development sessions. Our staff meetings focus on training and empowering you to become the best practitioner that you can be, rather than just addressing administrative tasks. We also dedicate meeting time to collaborative planning, ensuring any necessary changes are implemented efficiently and with staff input.

At Carr Infant School, our children are at the heart of what makes our school a truly rewarding place to work. While our school is not without its challenges, our children are a wonderful and inspiring group to work with, bringing joy, curiosity, and unique opportunities for personal and professional growth to every day.

Visits or video calls with the headteacher are strongly recommended.
