We are seeking a proactive and highly organised project coordinator employment and skills to join our dynamic team delivering the trailblazer programme for economically inactive residents across South London this innovative project aims to reduce economic activity inactivity by developing integrated person-centred employment and skills pathways, working in close collaboration with local authorities, health services, training providers and voluntary sector partners.This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high profile initiative that is driving system change and delivering real impact for residents furthest from the job market from the labour market. As the South London Partnership (SLP) SLP Employment and Skills Project Officer, youwill provide day-to-day project coordination support, ensuring delivery milestones are met. You will maintain accurate project plans, trackers and risk registers.You will support performance reporting, claim submissions and compliance monitoring, you will liaise with delivery partners, Borough leads and health teams to gather updates and ensure smooth communication.Your main project area will be supporting the effective delivery and integration of People, Skills Employment with health programmes across the six boroughs of Croydon, Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Wandsworth and Sutton.You will also support the Head of Economy, Skills and Employment with the project management reporting of all SLP Employment and Skills projects. The People and Skills programme at SLP is delivering a range of employment and skills projects to help residents across South London into meaningful work.You will assist the Programme Lead in the co-ordination, delivery and performance management of all SLP projects.
This is an exciting time to join SLP as we are expanding our range of services, to link with our health partners to provide access to employment services.This is a fixed term contract until March 31st 2026.This is a hybrid role, you will be mostly working remotely from home and will be required to work from various sites across the boroughs to support events and attend meetings.

Project Coordinator Employment and Skills
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Provide day-to-day project coordination support, ensuring delivery milestones are met
- maintain accurate project plans trackers and risk registers
- Support performance reporting claims submissions and compliance monitoring liaise with delivery partners plural aids and health teams to gather updates and ensure smooth and communication
- Organise the minute project meetings, workshops and engagement events
- assist with data collection for evaluation and audit purposes
- Support with communications campaigns including social media products
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of the employment and skills opportunities and challenges across the South London Partnership areas
- Previous experience supporting projects, ideally in the public or voluntary sector.
- Strong administration and coordination skills proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly excel word and teams
- Ability to confidently use social media as a marketing tool
- Ability to handle sensitive data and maintain confidentiality a commitment to equality inclusion and partnership working
- Experience of working with councils on employment and skills activity
- Ability to collect, collate, summarise and analyse information and draft high quality reports for management
