BaxterStorey have an incredible new venue opening in one of Peterborough's most iconic, historical spaces this year and are looking for a Barista to join the team.
As a Barista for BaxterStroey you will support the Cafe Manager in the everyday running of the venue, deliver service excellence to our guests and take ownership of the coffee bar independently.
The role will be at Peterborough Cathedral & BaxterStorey are proud to be working in this magnificent historical building.

Job Description
The Barista will oversee the Bar area , supporting the team to deliver exceptional service, creating and maintaining Drinks and service standards while driving sales through upselling and repeat guests.
Salary: £13,00 per hour
Working 5 days over 7
Responsibilities:
As a Barista, you will prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other drinks to our customers.
- Make an exceptional cup of coffee, good knowledge of coffee machines and grinders
- Set up the coffee bar, and fill out fridges with bought-in products.
- Take payments accurately.
- Stock rotation, temperature checks and allergen management
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including brewing equipment, countertops, and display cases.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling and sanitation standa
Qualifications
- Proven experience with a strong background in coffee preparation and serving.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service and operations.
