Role Overview:
As a Recycling Operative, you will be a key member of the team, responsible for sorting and processing recyclable materials in an efficient and environmentally-friendly manner. You will play an essential role in ensuring that materials are sorted accurately and safely, contributing to the companys sustainability goals and supporting a clean and organised working environment.
Key Responsibilities: Sort and process recyclable materials in line with company guidelines. Ensure all recyclable items are stored and disposed of correctly. Maintain a clean and organised recycling area. Assist with loading and unloading of recyclable materials. Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Perform routine checks to ensure equipment is working properly. Collaborate with the team to meet recycling targets. Support with general recycling duties as required. Requirements: Previous experience in a recycling or warehouse environment is preferred. Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy. Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions Flexibility and reliability with a positive attitude.
