The Role
Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Bedfordshire
Hours: 18 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary
Rate: £30 - £38 per hour (depending on qualifications)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching in GCSE and A-Level Mathematics.
- Plan and implement engaging lessons that promote pupil progress.
- Maintain excellent classroom management and foster a positive learning environment.
- Assess, track, and report on student performance effectively.
- Contribute to the broader school community and departmental goals.
Requirements
- Experience teaching Maths at both GCSE and A-Level within a secondary school or sixth form.
- Proven track record of achieving strong student progress and attainment.
- In-depth subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for mathematics.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential.
