Summary

Fire Door & Fire Stopping Installers - East Midlands
Location: East Midlands
Salary: £32,500 + Travel Allowance (approximately £5,000)
Van & Fuel Card Provided | Work in Pairs | Permanent Role

We are currently seeking experienced Fire Door Installers and Fire Stopping Installers to join our growing team across the East Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals who take pride in their work and are committed to delivering high standards in safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of fire door sets

  • All aspects of fire door maintenance

  • Installation of fire-rated loft hatches and fire-rated stud partitions

  • Carrying out fire door assessments and recording findings via app (e.g., Bolster)

  • Accurately recording all works, including photographic evidence, via app

  • Working both independently and as part of a team

  • Collaborating with colleagues and site managers to address and resolve on-site issues

  • Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer specifications and fire safety regulations

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the carpentry/joinery trade

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Joinery or a relevant trade

  • CSCS Card

  • FIRAS accreditation (desirable)

  • Asbestos Awareness certification

  • Experience working in occupied environments (Local Authority, Education, Health sectors)

  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach

  • Good understanding of Health & Safety on site

  • Proven ability to diagnose and solve problems on the job

  • Must supply own tools suitable for completing the required works
