We're seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at a beautifully appointed care home in Macclesfield. From £14.84 per hour | 36-48 hours per week | Permanent | Pension | On-Site Parking
Your Impact:
Lead with warmth: Supervise and mentor Care Assistants and Medication Technicians, fostering a positive, person-centred culture.
Deliver excellence: Provide hands-on personal care while promoting independence and dignity.
Enrich lives: Design and facilitate engaging activities to support physical and mental wellbeing.
Uphold standards: Work closely with the management team to ensure outstanding, compliant care.
Your Experience:
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) - essential.
2+ years' care experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role (e.g., team leadership, delegation).
Compassionate & proactive: A cheerful demeanour with strong communication and organisational skills.
Flexibility: Willing to work 12-hour shifts (days/nights) to meet resident needs.
Nice-to-have: Full driving licence (for occasional outings).
