Summary

Start Date: As soon as possibleThe Governors of this Outstanding Catholic School are seeking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable administrator to fulfil the post of Clerk to Governors and to play a key role in our thriving school. This role within the school is a vital one and you will be responsible for taking minutes at formal meetings throughout the year, these will take place in the evenings. Advise the Governing Board on governance legislation and procedural issues in accordance with the Governors Handbook and other statutory and good practice guidance. The successful applicant will have: • A commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
• GCSE at grade C/Level 4 or above in Mathematics and English Language.
• Good working knowledge of the legal framework relating to governance of schools and current developments in education
• Excellent organisational skills and flexible and adaptable in approach to work;
• Work to deadlines, with a high degree of accuracy;
• IT literacy skills;
• Excellent communication and interaction skillsIn return, we can provide excellent support and training from National Governance Association..
