Summary

The Role: We are seeking a Group Safeguarding Triage Advisor to join our dedicated safeguarding team on a one-year maternity cover contract. This is a vital role at the heart of our safeguarding operations, ensuring timely, effective, and compassionate responses to safeguarding concerns across the college. Key Responsibilities: • Triage safeguarding referrals and escalate, signpost, or close cases in line with policy and legislation. • Support the Group Head of Safeguarding in managing high-level cases and investigations. • Liaise with internal safeguarding leads and external agencies including social workers and virtual schools. • Maintain accurate, confidential records and contribute to safeguarding audits and continuous improvement. • Prioritise a diverse workload based on risk and urgency. • Promote safeguarding awareness and best practices across the college group. • Triage all Esafe alerts received on the reporting platform in accordance with threshold and safeguarding policy. Who You Are: • A Level 3 or higher qualification in Safeguarding. • Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation, procedures, and GDPR. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Experience in safeguarding triage, case management, or a related field is highly desirable.
