Summary

Teaching Assistant, KS1 or KS2 FT and Permanent role
31.25 hrs per week: 8.30 – 3.15 (including a 30 mins lunch duty)
Term Time only, 39 weeks
Spine point NJC Grade 3: Point 5-7 Smitham Primary School and Nursery is looking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant who is creative, adaptable and has a passion for working with primary aged children. You should be able to demonstrate strong Numeracy and Literacy skills, have a flexible approach to how children learn and be able to build good relationships with children and the wider team. Our Teaching Assistants also have a wider responsibility to monitor children throughout the whole day, including at break and lunchtime. Smitham Primary and Nursery School is a 3 form, oversubscribed and high performing school - a vibrant hub of creativity and learning, where children and staff thrive in the work that we do.
